Overview:
IntelliShift understands the importance of Dashcam video for fleets and how powerful the In Cab Coaching & Exoneration is to an organization. With this release, IntelliShift wants to ensure that clients are provided visibility in to their Fleet Ai Dash Cam Health and give insights into assets that may need attention.
Where Can a Client Access This Data:
- IntelliShift AI Dash Cam > Dashboard or as Widgets within
- Analytics > Fleet IQ
- Camera Health (Offered as a Donut Chart or Table)
What IntelliShift Hardware Provides Health Data:

- Ai Cam 300
What Triggers as “Needs Attention”:
Ai Cam 400
- The Camera had reported to IntellliShift at least once (At or After Installation)
- When the Camera’s Last Reported Date is older then the Vehicle Gateway’s Last Moved Date by 1 day.
- Ex: A Camera Last Reported on 4/15/2023 at 11:00am Eastern, and the Vehicle had last moved on 4/18/2023 10:00am Eastern.
- When the Camera’s Last Reported Date & Telematics Gateway’s Last Reported Date is greater then 2 Days.
- Ex: A Camera Last Reported on 4/18/2023 and the Asset’s Last Reported Date is 4/18/2023

- The Camera had reported to IntellliShift at least once (At or After Installation)
- When the Camera’s Last Reported Date is older then the Vehicle Gateway’s Last Moved Date by 14 days.
- Ex: A Camera Last Reported on 4/03/2023 at 11:00am Eastern, and the Vehicle had last moved on 4/18/2023 10:00am Eastern.
- When the Camera’s Last Reported Date & Telematics Gateway’s Last Reported Date is over 48 Hours old from the current date/time
- Ex: A Camera Last Reported on 4/18/2023 and the Asset’s Last Reported Date is 4/18/2023.

* Based on the features that a client is subscribed to.
** IntelliShift’s AiCam300 does NOT send an event to IntelliShift when the vehicle is turned on, Each time a vehicle equipped with the Aicam400 is turned On or Off a health event will come to IntelliShift to report back its status.
What Should be Done if an Asset is showing as “Needs Attention”:
AiCam300:

- Pull a Report for the Asset and look for a period where the asset was On and Driving.
- Navigate to Ai Dash Cam and Request a Video for the Asset.
- Confirm that the Asset is turned on for the Video to be uploaded.
- Time to upload the Video Event can vary based on Cellular Signal Quality
- If the video doesn’t come in to IntelliShift, Contact IntelliShift Support.
- If the Video Comes in, This camera will be not need to be addressed, and will come off the Camera Health Report as “Needing Attention”.
AiCam400:

- Have the Vehicle Turned on the Camera will check in to the Intellishift Platform.
- Feel Free to have the Panic Alarm Pressed if you want to receive video into the Platform.
- Time to upload the Video Event can vary based on Cellular signal quality
- If the Camera checked In or the Video of a Panic Button was uploaded, the camera will not need to be addressed and will come off the Camera Health Report as “Needing Attention”.
- If the video doesn’t come in to IntelliShift or the Camera does not report to IntelliShift after starting the vehicle, Contact IntelliShift Support.

When Should my Asset no Longer show as “Needs Attention”:
- Your Asset will transition from Needs Attention to Healthy within 24 hours of the reason for being marked as Needs Attention has been cleared
- This means that your camera has transmitted a Video Event / Health Check to IntelliShift
- Your Telematics device is reporting.
