IntelliShift provides visibility around the health of your cameras to ensure that you don't miss any critical events leading toward exoneration or a coaching opportunity.
This articles helps you locate the health information of your cameras and explains important next steps in ensuring your hardware is properly reporting.

Access Camera Health
Option 1: AI Dash Cam Service Module
Your company may have chosen to display these widgets by default in your AI Dash Cam service module.
- In the left-hand navigation, select the "AI Dash Cam” service module.
- In the top navigation, select "Dashboard"
- View the "Camera Health" widgets.
Option 2: Analytics Service Module
If the camera health widget and table are not displayed in your default dashboard, you can view the AI Dash Cam global dashboard by navigating to your Analytics service module.
- In the left-hand navigation, select the "Analytics” service module.
- In the "Dashboard" dropdown menu, select the global "AI Dash Cam" dashboard.
- Please note: you can add the camera health donut chart or table to any dashboard.
- View the "Camera Health" widgets.

If you have access to the "Analytics" service module, you can build custom dashboards and share these dashboards with others.

Which IntelliShift hardware provides health data?
- Ai Cam 400

What defines the camera as “Needs Attention”?
Ai Cam 400
- The camera has reported to IntellliShift at least once (at or after installation)
- When the camera’s "Last Reported Date" is older then the vehicle gateway’s last moved date by 1 day.
- Ex: A camera last reported on 4/15/2023 at 11:00am Eastern, and the vehicle had last moved on 4/18/2023 10:00am Eastern.
- When the camera’s "Last Reported Date" AND Telematics Gateway’s "Last Reported Date" is greater than 2 days.
- Ex: If today is 4/21/2023 and A Camera Last Reported on 4/18/2023 and the Asset’s Last Reported Date is 4/18/2023

- The camera had reported to IntellliShift at least once (at or after installation)
- When the camera’s "Last Reported Date" is older then the Vehicle Gateway’s last moved date by 14 days.
- Ex: A Camera Last Reported on 4/03/2023 at 11:00am Eastern, and the Vehicle had last moved on 4/18/2023 10:00am Eastern.
- When the camera’s "Last Reported Date" AND Telematics Gateway’s "Last Reported Date" is over 48 Hours old from the current date/time
- Ex: If today is 4/21/2023 and A Camera Last Reported on 4/18/2023 and the Asset’s Last Reported Date is 4/18/2023

* Based on the features that a client is subscribed to.
** IntelliShift’s AiCam300 does NOT send an event to IntelliShift when the vehicle is turned on. Each time a vehicle equipped with the Aicam400 is turned on or off, a health event will come to IntelliShift to report back its status.
What should be done if a camera is reporting as “Needs Attention”?
AiCam300:

- Navigate to your Analytics service module > Reports.
- Pull a report for the asset and confirm a time period when the asset ignition was on and driving.
- Navigate to AI Dash Cam > Events, and "Request a Video" for the asset during the time period that the asset ignition was on and driving.
- For the video to upload, the asset must be turned on after the request. Ensure the vehicle is or has been turned on. Upload time can vary based on cellular signal quality.
- If the video doesn’t display within the AI Dash Cam > Events list, contact IntelliShift Support.
- If the video displays within AI Dash Cam > Events list, this camera will be not need to be addressed, and soon be removed from the Camera Health widget as “Needing Attention”.
- Navigate to your Analytics service module > Reports.

- With the vehicle ignition on, have the operator press the "Manual Event" capture button. This button is on the front of the camera by the lens. (Please note: in the camera configuration settings, the "Manual Event Capture Button" must be toggled on.)
- Navigate to AI Dash Cam service module > Events. Look for the new event within the list. (Upload time can vary based on cellular signal quality.)
- If the video doesn’t display within the AI Dash Cam > Events list, contact IntelliShift Support.
- If the video displays within AI Dash Cam > Events list, this camera will be not need to be addressed, and soon be removed from the Camera Health widget as “Needing Attention”.
When should my asset no longer display as “Needs Attention”?
See troubleshooting steps above.
Your asset will transition from "Needs Attention" to healthy within 24 hours after troubleshooting. If your asset is reporting as healthy, this means that your camera has successfully sent a video event or health Check to IntelliShift, and that your Telematics device is reporting.
