The IntelliShift Data Analysis Studio is the next generation of Silent Passenger Report that was previously delivered through the On-Demand Reports. The Data Analysis Studio utilizes Snowflake as the data aggregation platform and supports the generation of data for extended periods of time, the ability to display data in either Metric or standard U.S. units of measure and exporting data in multiple formats for further analysis beyond what is supported within the IntelliShift platform.
Accessing and Generating Data Analysis Reports
Users of Silent Passenger On-Demand Reports will automatically have permission to access the Data Analysis Reports. Once the report option is selected, users can walk through the steps to complete the reporting parameters desired.
- Within IntelliShift, select the Silent Passenger from the Application Menu
- From the Top Menu, select Data and Reports
- Select IntelliShift Data Analysis Studio
- Choose a report option from the list of available reports.
- Select the Branches, Tags, Assets, and Operators you want included on the report.
- Complete the required parameters for the selected report.
- Click Next to generate the report.
Reporting Options
At this time, twelve reports from the On-Demand Report module have been ported to the IntelliShift Data Analysis Studio. These reports include:
- Asset Event Summary (Previously Vehicle Event Summary) – Summarized the number speeding, idling, harsh turning, harsh braking, and rapid acceleration events for the requested period.
- Asset Summary Report (Previously Vehicle Summary Report) – Returns the total Idle Time, Drive Time, Average Speed, and Max Speed per asset for the requested period.
- Daily Mileage Report – Displays the daily distance driven by asset for requested reporting period.
- Driver Score Card Report – Provides driver behavior scores based on Idle Times, Speed, Hard Braking, and Rapid Acceleration.
- Enhanced Idle and IO Times Report- Enhanced Idle Report with I/O Times included.
- Enhance Idle Report – Displays the time, location, and duration of any idle events exceeding the defined idle threshold.
- Enhanced Idle with PTO Times – Enhanced Idle report with Power Take-Off (PTO) times included.
- Fleet Activity Report – Provides summarized asset activity detail including asset information, meter/mileage totals, stops, and usage days for the defined period.
- Fleet Utilization Report – Shows the overall fleet usage by branch/asset, the total days of movement or no movement, and details on the last recorded movement.
- Speeding Report – Displays the date, time, and location for all speeding events exceeding the defined High-Speed limit or threshold above the posted speed limit.
- State Mileage Report – Displays the total distance driven by asset within each state.
- Stops w/ Options Report – Displays the date, time, location, and duration of stops exceeding the defined threshold
- *Note: At launch, the Stops w/ Options Report will not include any geofencing options.
- Enhanced Odometer Report - Displays the Asset Name, Starting Odometer, Ending Odometer, and miles traveled per day for the reporting time period.
- Landmark Category Stops Detail Report - Displays the Asset Name, Landmark Name, Address, Stop Date & Time and total duration of the stop where the asset was stopped within the landmarked location for greater then the defined Stop Threshold.
- Landmark Category Stops Summary Report - Displays the Asset Name, and the number of stops recorded within each category of landmarks.
- Fuel Card Activity Report - Displays all fuel transactions by Asset, Branch, Operator, or Fuel Card. Providing Product, Price per Unit, Quantity, and Purchase Total.
- Geofence Summary Report - Summarized by Geofence / Geofence Category; the report will display all of the assets and their duration within the Geofence / Geofence Category
- Start & End of Day Report - Displays the Asset & Operator, segmented to a daily view of the Start Time & Start Location, First Motion Date & Location, Final Destination Time & Location, and End of Day Time & Location. The report will summarize the duration of Travel, Stop, Idle, Used & Total time.
- Non-Landmark Stops Report - Displays the Stop details of an asset not at a Landmarked location where the asset was stopped greater then the provided threshold.
- Temperature Report - Provides a route level detail of temperature readings, which can be utilized as a quality of service of products throughout the whole route. The Report displays the Asset Name, Date & Time, Location, and Temperature reading.
- Hours of Use Report - This report provides the Operational time of the asset from Ignition On to Ignition off.
- Geofence Summary Report - The report Report provides a summary of the time that an asset or operator has spent on a particular geofence e.g. job sites, yards.
Additional Data Analysis Reporting Options
- Exporting Data – All Data Analysis reports can be exported by clicking the export button to the left of the "Search Box". Reports can be exported to PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, PowerPoint, MHTML, XML, Tiff File, and Data Feed. With this release, all data included for the reports has been normalized and include the following changes:
- Numeric fields no longer contain text values.
- Date/Time formats have been standardized
- Units of measure have been moved to the report headers.
- Running for Expanded Date Ranges – All reports included with the Data Analysis Studio can run for extended periods of time.
- Data can be returned for a maximum period of 12 months for up to 36 months in the past.
- Data can be returned for a maximum period of 12 months for up to 36 months in the past.
- Reporting based on Metric Units – Support of Metric units of measure has been included in all Data Analysis Reports. The report parameters are predefined based on the ‘Use Metric’ setting from the User Profile. If the ‘Use Metric’ setting is enabled by the user, the reports will display in Metric units by default. If desired, users have the option to override this option when running each report.
- Navigation Hints
-
- Users can navigate between the Assets, Parameters, and Display tabs and alter criteria without leaving the selected report window.
