This update puts more fleet status insights at your fingertips. But, don't worry, you can still see exactly what you did before. (Ex. The speed status viewable today will remain viewable in the new version.)
What you will get are new filters, export capabilities, and the ability to drag and drop the columns to put the data that is most important to you right where you want to see it.
Here’s what you can expect from your new and improved Fleet Status page:
Filters
On the New Fleet Status page, we have moved the filters to the Filters drop-down menu on the right-hand side.
The previous version of the Fleet Status page contained three filter types:
1- Asset Tags
2- Branch Filter
3- Address Search
In addition to these 3 filters you will see 6 new filters in the filter menu:
1- Branch
2- Tag
3- Asset
4- Operators
5- Status
6- MIL Status
7- Ignition Status
8- Device Attention Needed
9- Address
Search
Sort by Status
You can also sort the table by many of the columns, (EX Stopped for less than five minutes) Which allows you to generate a page and export reports (see New Export Capabilities below) similar to a fleet status health page by many criteria.'
Columns
Now you can access additional details directly in the Fleet Status table by adding columns. You can select columns under the ‘Gear Icon’ in the top right navigation.
This will provide you with many new column options, and surface some data (Ex MIL light or Seat Belt) that previously required multiple clicks to view.
New Export Capability
Within the new Fleet Status Page, you can now export the table via CSV or Excel. You can the export tool in the upper right-hand navigation next to the column gear and filter menu.
The export will only contain content from the current page view (1-200 assets). An update is planned to export the entire list at once regardless of the number of lines coming soon.
Combine additional inputs to gather new insights
The new fleet Status Page is configurable to include items such as sensors (IO1) or temp probes. Combining these data inputs provides a more comprehensive health status of assets within the Fleet Status Page.
Additional Notes for current users
- Customers who have additional sensor subscriptions, will need to add those sensor data points to your new Fleet Status page. The Fleet Status view will appear differently when you first open it. IO status or temp monitoring will need to be added using the columns drop-down menu.
- If you use Fleet Status for Live location for dispatch purposes, you can now customize your view further. Previously your last location was in column 3, Last Location. And your stop status was displayed in column 6 with duration in column 9. Now you can add these columns, and drag and drop them, plus combine them with any additional details to suit your business needs.
