View, Edit, or Add Your Inspection Ruleset
To view your Inspection Ruleset, follow these steps:
Asset Inspection Ruleset Overview
The Inspections Ruleset window allows you to define your asset inspection ruleset.
- Require pre-trip asset inspections (1)
- Select pre-trip inspection form (1a)
- By requiring a pre- or post-trip inspection, the operator will be automatically prompted to complete the inspection in the In The Field Logbook app.
- Define grace period before triggering missed alert (1b)
- The pre-trip alert grace period is defined as the duration after an operator has been in the “Driving Status.” (First time in Driving status for the current shift).
- Please note, you will need to set up a Missed Inspection Alert (Telematics > Alerts) for the alert to be active.
- Select pre-trip inspection form (1a)
- Require post-trip asset inspections (2)
- Select post-trip inspection form (2a)
- By requiring a pre- or post-trip inspection, the operator will be automatically prompted to complete the inspection in the In The Field Logbook app.
- Define grace period before triggering missed alert (2b)
- The post-trip alert grace period is defined as the duration after an operator has been in the “Off Duty” status or has logged out of the Logbook.
- Please note, you will need to set up a Missed Inspection Alert (Telematics > Alerts) for the alert to be active.
- Select post-trip inspection form (2a)
- Cancel or save changes (3)
Trailer Inspection Ruleset Overview
The Inspections Ruleset window allows you to define your trailer inspection ruleset.
- Require pre-trip trailer inspections (1)
- Select pre-trip inspection form (1a)
- By requiring a trailer inspection, the operator will be automatically prompted to complete the trailer inspections in the In The Field mobile app. This applies to any operator who selected a trailer or if they changed their trailer.
- Define grace period before triggering missed alert (1b)
- The pre-trip alert grace period is defined as the duration after an operator has been in the “Driving Status.” (First time in Driving status for the current shift)
- Please note, you will need to set up a Missed Inspection Alert (Telematics > Alerts) for the alert to be active.
