Over Tank Capacity Widget (Dashboards) Follow

Overview

The Over Tank Capacity (Excessive Fuel) dashboard widget draws your attention to fuel transactions where the quantity purchased surpasses your asset's tank capacity. This can indicate potential fuel discrepancies or unauthorized use of fuel.

Prerequisites For This Widget

• You must be subscribed to IntelliShift's Fuel Management Product
• Once subscribed, ensure that you set up Your Fuel Accounts
• Once your fuel accounts are set up, Add & Assign your Fuel Cards
• Lastly, within the "Administration" > Assets service module, ensure that all assets have the correct Fuel Tank Capacity. 

Widget Access

1. Select the "Fuel Manager" service module in the left-hand navigation panel.
2. Ensure you are viewing the "Dashboard" in the top navigation pane.
3. Select the "edit" icon in the top right-hand corner and ensure you are viewing the "Fuel Manager" dashboard. (Please note: The edit icon may only appear if your Administrator has allowed you permissions to choose your dashboard.)

Widget Options

Table widgets on IntelliShift dashboards contain a "gear" icon that allows you to select additional fields and drill down options. 

In the "Over Tank Capacity" table widget, click the gear icon to:

• Offer drill down to branch and/or asset level
• Offer additional information columns such as cost, events, gallons, and overage

Ensure that your dashboard filters are set to the correct date range by selecting the "Filters" option in the top right-hand corner.

Over Tank Capacity Counter

The "Over Tank Capacity" counter displays a count of excessive fuel purchases for the date range and compares this count with the prior date range to assess if the number has decreased or increased.

Table Widget Fields

The "Over Tank Capacity" table offers excessive fuel purchase events. Below are the definitions of each column:

• Branch: The branch in which the asset resides in
• Events: The number of excessive fuel purchases within the selected date range
• Cost: The total cost of fuel card purchases within the selected date range
• Gallons: The total gallons purchased within the selected date range
• Overage: The total gallons in excess of the tank capacity within the selected date range
