Unassigned Drive Time Navigation Overview
Unclaimed drive time refers to periods of driving detected by the Telematics device that are not claimed by a specific driver, potentially leading to inaccurate log entries. This occurs when a driver fails to log in to his or her logbook (via the In The Field app) before operating a vehicle. Monitoring unclaimed drive time is crucial for ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations, preventing violations, and maintaining accurate records for hours of service.
