Overview
IntelliShift offers easy-to-use tools to view and manage log edits made by operators or office administrators.
Log edits may be necessary to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and maintain accurate records of an operator's hours of service (HOS). Occasionally, a driver may need to correct or update their status within their log. For example, if the operator forgot to go "Off Duty" upon ending their shift or going into "Sleep Berth" they may need to adjust their logs to reflect that. Edits help ensure that logs reflect actual driving time, rest breaks, and on-duty hours accurately.
Please note, this article does not cover how to edit a log. You can find this in the "Edit Logs" article.
