Edit Logs Follow

Overview

IntelliShift offers an easy-to-use log edit modal to adjust the log as needed. Log edits may be necessary to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and maintain accurate records of an operator's hours of service (HOS). Occasionally, a log edit may need to be made, for example, if the operator forgot to go "Off Duty" upon ending their shift or going into "Sleep Berth."

Log Edits Modal Navigation Overview

In the log edit modal, you can

• View the log details (1)
• View and edit the shipping documentation number(s) (2)
• View the operator's duty status grid within a 24 hour timeframe (3)
• Delete log entries (4)
• Add a new log entry
  • Select the duty status (5)
  • Add the time (6)
  • Add the location (7)
  • Add comments (8)
  • Select the add button to add the entry (9)
  • Select "Update" to update the entry (10)

Please note, once you select "Update," your log edit will send to the operator for approval. You will still be viewing the original log until the modification has been approved. You can review your log edits by navigating to "Log Edits" in the top navigation pain.
