Overview
Ensuring that your drivers are properly paired to the right assets is crucial for optimizing fleet operations and maintaining safety, compliance, and efficiency.
The IntelliShift DriverID device (using fob readers or corporate badge readers) features a buzzer that plays a key role in ensuring drivers are paired with an asset before operating a vehicle. The buzzer sounds after the ignition turns on, prompting the driver to swipe their key fob or badge for identification. Then, the buzzer pauses for five seconds. If the badge or fob is still not swiped, the buzzer will continue to sound.
