Map View Follow

Overview

Within IntelliShift, the Telematics map view provides users with the ability to view their fleet vehicles and assets within a single pane of glass. Whether providing ease of access to individual vehicles or segmenting the map to provide  a customized map experience.

Access Map View

To view your fleet map, follow these steps:

1. In the left-hand navigation, select the "Telematics” service module.
2. In the top navigation, select "Map View"

Map View Navigation Overview

On Map View, you can:

• Change the map view to Road, Satellite, Hybrid,  Auto (1)
• Open the map menu and interact with map tools(2)
  • Zoom to Fleet: Zoom map to display your fleet
  • Directions: Get turn-by-turn route directions
  • Find Address: Locate address and find nearest assets and ETAs to location, view history of assets in location, create landmark
  • Filter Layers: View traffic, landmarks, geofences, branches, or tags
  • Save View: Save current map view, filters, and layout. Choose to share the map view or keep private.
  • Load Map: Load saved map layout
  • Export: Export map information as csv, xlsx, or print map
• Open the map view menu and interact with map tools (3)
  • Edit Layout: Create multi-paned map and build custom view
  • Displayed Assets: Select and filter assets on map
  • Global Branch Filter: Filter assets across all views
    • Please note, this will filter out assets across all views!
  • Open Map Legend: View map legend
  • Fullscreen View: Expand map to full screen
  • Load Layout: Load saved map layout
  • Save Layout: Save current map view, filters, and layout. Choose to share the map view or keep private.
  • Management Layouts/Views: Manage saved custom map views.
• Hover over an asset to open asset details (4)
• Open the Quick Zoom filter for a list of assets. Easily search and filter the map. (5)
• Use the search dropdown to search by asset, operator, location, status, branch, or tags. (6)
• Use the search field to type and search by asset, operator, location, status, branch, or tags. (7)
• View asset information. Hover over the "i" information icon to view asset details. Select the "Follow" button to zoom to the asset and for the map to track with the asset. (8)
• Use map tools to zoom in, zoom out, or use "peg man" to drag and drop icon on a street for street view. (9)
