EV Battery Level, Charging Connection, and State of Charging Follow

Overview

As a fleet manager overseeing electric vehicles (EVs), you need real-time insights into your EVs' battery levels and charging statuses to efficiently manage productivity and ensure vehicles are ready for use.

On the IntelliShift platform, you can view each EV's current battery percentage, check if it’s connected to a charger, and confirm whether it’s actively charging—all in a clear, color-coded format across Quick Zoom, Asset Information Bubble, and Fleet Status views. Additionally, you'll have access to these details in Fleet Status exports for in-depth reporting, helping you track EV utilization, optimize charging schedules, and prevent downtime due to insufficient charging. This visibility supports better workload planning and promotes EV adoption across your fleet.

View EV Battery Level, Charging Connection, and State of Charging

Across the IntelliShift platform, EV Battery Level, Charging Connection, and State of Charging display in the following locations:

Status Definitions

Quick Zoom

To open the Quick Zoom menu, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the "Telematics" service module
2. In the top navigation bar, select the magnifying glass icon.

Within the Quick Zoom menu, EV assets can display their charging connection and battery level.

Asset Bubble

There are multiple ways to navigate to the "asset bubble" which offers a detailed view regarding the asset's current location, ignition status, speed, direction, stops, diagnostics, and more. You can view the asset bubble from the Administration > Asset list, Telematics > Map View, Telematics > Fleet Status, and more.

Map View > Asset Bubble

1. Navigate to the "Telematics" service module.
2. In the top navigation bar, select "Map View."
3. Hover over an asset on the map to open the Asset Bubble.
