By simplifying the resolution process, this tool helps reduce downtime and improve fleet safety.

View an Issue
To view issue details, follow these steps:
- In the left-hand navigation, select the "Inspect” service module.
- In the top navigation, select "Issues"
- From the Issues List, navigate to the row's far right-hand side and click on the "View Details" arrow icon.
Please note, if you are not able to update issues, you will need to contact an Administrator. Only Account Administrators and Administrators can change your permissions. You will need to have "Inspect" > "All" user permissions.
Manage Issues Overview
While viewing an issue, you can
- View the failed checkpoint and unique inspection ID (1)
- View issue details such as who reported the issue, date and time reported, inspection form completed, asset and trailer, branch, mechanic, as well as last issue activity (2)
- Change the status of the issue from "New" to either "Needs Not Be Corrected" or "Completed" (3)
- View mechanic or office user signature once the issue is completed (4)
- Share the issue with a mechanic (5)
- This individual will receive an email, unique pin, and link to manage the issue. Please note, they will not be able to navigate elsewhere or view any other issue.
- Sharing the issue with a mechanic will place the mechanic's name in the issue details.
- View the issue activity and add comments (6)
- Add attachments such as work authorization documents, estimates, damage images, receipts, invoices, or other relevant information (7)
- Download a PDF copy. This will be emailed to you (8)
Please note, if you are subscribed to IntelliShift's "Maintenance" product, you can choose to open a work order instead. A work order will allow you to track parts, labor costs, reset the clock on preventative maintenance, and more.
