Sourcing parts without clear records of suppliers can lead to delays and inefficiencies in fleet maintenance.
The Manufacturers feature allows you to maintain a list of suppliers and optionally associate parts with specific manufacturers. While not required, this added layer of organization helps streamline sourcing, ensures consistency in quality, and simplifies communication with suppliers when reordering or resolving issues. By tracking manufacturers, you can enhance inventory management and maintain stronger supplier relationships, ultimately improving the reliability of your fleet operations.

View Manufacturers
To view Manufacturers, follow these steps:
- In the left-hand navigation, select the "Maintenance” service module.
- In the top navigation, select "Tools."
- In the dropdown menu, select “Manage Parts.”
- Select "Manufacturers"
Please note, if you do not see this feature, you will need to contact an Administrator. Only Account Administrators and Administrators can change your permissions. You will need Maintenance > "All" access.
Add Manufacturers
Follow the steps below to add new Manufacturers.
Edit and Delete Manufacturers
Follow the steps below to edit and delete Manufacturers. Please note, to associate a part with a manufacturer, you will need to navigate to parts management. Visit our article "View, Add, Edit, and Delete Parts."
