Overview
Within IntelliShift, branches offer the core structure and foundation for the rest of the platform. Users, Operators, and Assets are all assigned permissions by branch. Branches also help define filters, searches, alerts, reports, scorecards, and more. A well-defined and up-to-date branch structure ensures you get the most out of IntelliShift.

Branch Navigation Overview
To view a branch, select a branch in the left-hand panel. Within the branch view, you can
- Filter or search for a branch (1)
- Click on a branch within this panel to view the branch details.
- Add a new branch (2)
- View a selected branch's name, timezone, and geofence (3)
- Add a child branch, edit the branch, or delete the branch (4)
- View and add user branch permissions (5)
- Please note, users will display at the top-most level they can view. For example, if there is a branch titled "Branch 1" and "Joel" is assigned to this branch, his name would only display as a user if viewing Branch 1, even thought he could view the two child branches, "Branch 1a" and "Branch 1b."

- Please note, assets can only be assigned to a single branch.
- View and add operator branch permissions (7)
- Please note, operators will display at the top-most level they can view. For example, if there is a branch titled "Branch 1" and "Nancy" is assigned to this branch, her name would only display as an operator if viewing Branch 1, even thought she could view the two child branches, "Branch 1a" and "Branch 1b.
