Steps to Create an Alert.
Step 1: From the Top Menu Bar, click “Alerts”
- A menu will appear with Manage and Logs displayed, select "Manage".
- This screen will show you all of the previous alerts you entered for your user account. Click Create Alert in the lower left side of the window to create a new alert.
- On the left side of the alerts page, it will list all the alerts (currently subscribed to, that you can select from).
- Click the Alert that you want to get notified on to start the configuration.
- Choose the alert subject from the list of Branches, Tags, or Assets.
- Click Next in the lower right side of the window.
Step 2: of the configuration is creating a schedule of when to monitor the alert.
- Within the Schedule, you can monitor for this event all day every day or very specific hours by setting your beginning hours and ending hours of when to monitor the alert.
- Click Next in the lower right side of the window.
Step 3: of the alert creation process is Naming the Alert and setting specific thresholds or events when the alert should be triggered.
- Click Next in the lower right side of the window.
Step 4: is how you get notified of the alert, which can be configured multiple ways.

- Text Message – a message sent via SMS.
- Email – a message sent to designated email addresses.
- On-Screen Notification – a notification directly within Silent Passenger.
- Choose any of the alert methods above, with the ability to set all these methods to be notified on. You can also add additional alert recipients for the alerts.
- Click Create in the lower right side of the window to save the alert. Your alert will now be created and added to your user account.
