The Menu within Silent Passenger provides functions to allow users the ability to change the way that the map looks and feels for their specific needs. It provides the users the ability to access and configure Map View Layouts, Display Traffic, Display Landmarks or Geofences, as well as provide the users to choose what Assets or Branches to Display.
Accessing the Menu
- On the top, right-hand corner of the map will be a menu. With your mouse click the menu for the list of functions to be displayed.
Map Legend
Silent Passenger's Map legend provides the user with a detailed view of all of the asset icons that can be found within Silent Passenger, From Moving to Speeding to Stopped, users will always be able to identify what their assets are up to.

Multi-View Layout
Silent Passenger's Layout provides the user with the ability to configure their map to one of 9 different options, in which the user can view up to 6 individual tiles that can be configured for that particular users viewing needs (Don't forget to share these with others to give them access to your custom layouts).
There is as well a Saved Layouts, which provides the user the ability to load a custom layout with a single click.

Selected Branches
Selected Branches will Show or Hide branches and all vehicles within those branches from all parts of Silent Passenger. If a branch is not selected here, the user will not see the vehicles within Map View, Fleet Status, Alerts or Reports(Any configured Alerts or Scheduled Reports previously configured will still contain the vehicles).
Traffic
Silent Passenger's traffic provides users with a real-time detailed view of traffic conditions. The roads will be displayed with indicators from Green to Red to indicate the severity of traffic. Green roads displayed are experiencing little to no traffic, whereas roads displayed in Red are experiencing high volumes of traffic. Users will see Triangles on the map as well which indicates incidents that may impede travels. Red Triangles represent Major incidents, whereas Yellow Triangles will represent minor incidents. Lastly, the map will display road or lane closures which will be identified as a circle with a horizontal dash through it.
Displayed Landmarks
Within the Menu, Users can enable Landmark Categories to be displayed on the map view. This can provide users with the ability to see their assets within the proximity of particular landmarks as well as get what assets are closest to the landmark.
Displayed Geofences
Users can choose to Show or Hide specific categories of Geofences within the Map. this provides the users the ability to see what assets are operating within specific zones. For example, if a user has a zone called Job Sites, and they are displaying that category on the map, it will provide the user with the ability to see what assets are operating within an ongoing job.
Displayed Branches
Displayed Branches provides users with the ability to select what branches of assets that they want to have displayed or hidden from the map view. Displayed Branches will only affect the view of the map, but will not change anything from Alerts, Reports, or Fleet Status.
Displayed Vehicles
If users did not want to display or hide branches of vehicles but rather wanted to show or hide individual assets, this feature provides the user the ability to select those assets to be viewed or hidden from all aspects of Silent Passenger. This will provide similar functionality to Selected Branches, providing more granularity to what vehicles should be displayed.
Address Lookup
The Address Lookup feature provides the user with the ability to type in an address, with the address selected it will provide a blue pin drop of the location on the map. When the user brings their mouse over the pin drop, it will display the Four closest assets to that location. For each of these assets, users will be able to see how close they are in miles, as well as with the ETA feature users will be able to get a real-time ETA on how far away each asset is.
Driving Directions
Driving Directions will provide Silent Passenger users with the ability to enter addresses on the map to build a route. Driving Directions provides the ability to add up to 10 addresses by clicking Add Waypoint, Once the addresses have been added, click Get Directions to provide turn by turn navigation which can be printed and provided to the operator. Addresses can be re-sorted by the user to provide the operator with the most optimal route.
