There are several ways to assign operators to vehicles including the IntelliShift DriverID key fobs or corporate cards as well as automatic assignment when operators complete digital inspections. Fleet leaders also have the chose to manually assign operators. Using these methods is crucial for accurately identifying who is operating each asset. Assigning operators not only enhances visibility in Map View and Fleet Status but also enables precise alerting and reporting by operator. This added level of detail allows fleet leaders to better understand driver behavior, identify and address risky driving habits, track compliance with safety protocols, and ensure inspections are completed, ultimately promoting a safer and more efficient fleet operation.
