Parts Setup Follow

Parts within IntelliShift's Service application provide the users with the ability to keep track of the parts that are being utilized per job as well as the ability to keep track of parts cost, ultimately providing the organization with the total service cost.

Creating a Part

1. Within IntelliShift, click Vehicle Service
2. Within the Vehicle Service Application, click Part Setup
3. The Left-hand side of the parts page contains the already created parts. 
4. Within the middle of the page, users can enter the following details to create the part
   1. Part Name - The Name to identify the Part
   2. Part Number - The unique identifier used to identify the specific part number for internal reference. 
   3. Description - An additional field used to describe the part and its use.
   4. Unit of Measure - a list of ways to identify the cost of the part within IntelliShift. 
      1. Each
      2. Gallon
      3. Hour
      4. Pair
      5. Quart
   5. Unit Price - The cost of the single unit.
5. Once the values have been filled out, click Save to create the Part.

Editing & Deleting Parts

1. Within IntelliShift, click Vehicle Service
2. Within the Vehicle Service Application, click Part Setup
3. The Left-hand side of the parts page contains the already created parts. 
4. To Modify or Delete a part click the Edit Pencil located to the left of the Part Name.
5. The details of the part will appear in the middle of the screen. Modify the existing details of the part and click Save. To Delete the part from within Vehicle service instead of clicking Save the user will click Delete.
