The eDVIR Administration guide we will be covering how to Create Custom Items and Custom forms.
Creating Custom Items
- Within IntelliShift, using the Menu on the Left-side of the screen click eDVIR
- Within the eDVIR application, you will have a Top Menu Bar, click Items
- the Items page will display 4 Sections of Items
- Truck Items - These are a list of standard items that are predefined designated for a Truck/Bus/Vehicle.
- Truck Custom Items - The list of already created custom items designated for a Truck/Bus/Vehicle will display below the Truck Standard Items. A custom item is identified as an item with the Trash Can to the right of the name which allows the user to delete the item.
- Trailer Items - These are a list of standard items that are predefined designated for a Trailer/Equipment
- Trailer Custom Items- The list of already created custom items designated for a Trailer/Equipment will display below the Trailer Standard Items. A custom item is identified as an item with the Trash Can to the right of the name which allows the user to delete the item.
- To Create a Custom Truck Item, click the icon next to Custom Items under the Truck Section
- Enter in the Name of the Custom Item
- Click Save
- To Create a Custom Trailer Item, click the icon next to Custom Items under the Trailer Section
- Enter in the Name of the Custom Item
- Click Save
- Repeat the process as many times as needed until all custom items are added.
Creating Forms
- Within IntelliShift, using the Menu on the Left-side of the screen click eDVIR
- Within the eDVIR application, you will have a Top Menu Bar, click Forms
- The Left-Hand side of the page will contain the list of forms that have been created.
- At the top of the Forms, list click the Add Form
- Enter the Form Name - This is the name that will be represented within IntelliShift.
- Notes can be used to describe further details of the eDVIR form.
- Select "Send real-time email alert on Reported Issues" this will notify the members on the Recipient List when an operator marks an issue with a Truck or Trailer
- Recipient List - Allows users to add email addresses separated by a ";" to be alerted when an operator marks an issue on an inspection.
- Branches - Select the branches that this form applies to. Branches can only have a single form assigned to them.
- Select all of the applicable items that apply to this form.
- Click Create.
Creating Operators
- From the Left-Hand Menu of IntelliShift, click Administration.
- From within the Administration Page click Operator tab from the top menu bar.
- Click the Add Operator button
- Fill in the Following Required Fields for creating an operator to utilize SP eDVIR
- Display Name - The name that will be represented within IntelliShift
- First Name - Legal First name of the Operator
- Last Name - Legal Last Name of the Operator
- Driver Pin - 4 to 8 Digit Numeric passcode that is unique for that driver. This is the passcode that the operator will use to sign into the SP eDVIR app.
- Branch Assignment - Assign the Operator to the appropriate Branches, then
- Choose Create.
