Managers and Maintenance personnel will be able to see completed inspection statistics in real-time. The Inspect Dashboard users will be able to see their Fleet Health, Inspection Statistics displaying Number of Inspections completed to Issues Reports and Closed Issues, as well as Issue Balances displaying trends on how many new issues were created versus how many issues were closed. Within Inspections, users will be able to track the status of each individual inspection. Issues allow users to share issues with outside vendors, upload documents and track the status of the issues.

Dashboard
The IntelliShift Inspect Dashboard provides users with the ability to see Realtime and Historical statistics on your organization's inspections.
Accessing the Inspect Dashboard
- Log into IntelliShift
- From the left side App Menu, click Inspect
- You will be brought to the Dashboard
Fleet Health
Fleet Health provides an indication of the full fleet, the number and percentage of the assets with issues in comparison to the assets without issues. By clicking View Details users have the ability to specifically look at the assets and the number of issues that have been identified.
Inspection Statistics
The Inspection Statistics provide users with the ability to see the Number of Inspections, Number of Vehicles Inspected, Issues Reported, and the Number of Closed Issues over the selected time frame. Each of these metrics is used to help provide users with the ability to see Failure Rates and Active/Outstanding issues within their fleet.
Issue Balance
The Issue Balance provides a Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Trend Analysis of the number of issues opened in comparison to the number of issues closed. In an optimal fleet, this should display a downward trend, as this represents that any issues that are found, are being handled in a timely manner.
Issues
Issues are Inspections with faults found. Within Inspections, users will be able to track the status of the reported issue. There are two available statuses New and Completed. Users will be able to see specific fields within the Issues page:
- Fault - The specific item that had failed.
- Status - A representation if the issue has been completed or not.
- Stage - A path of Compliance Inspections, this will display Pending Resolution, Pending Verification, Verified. This will only display when
- Date Reported - The Date and Time that the issue was reported within the inspection
- Last Activity - This represents the latest Date and Time a modification has been made to the issue by a user
- Operator - The operator's name that submitted the issue
- Asset - The Asset that the issue was identified having the issue
- Form Template - The name of the inspection Template with from where the issue was identified
Permissions
Issues Read - This Permission allows the user to access the Issue Tab within Inspect. This allows the user to view all issues within the assigned branches that they have defined.
Issue Write - This permission allows the user to make updates to Issues
Issues Delete - This permission will allow the user to delete the issues within the Inspect web app.
Accessing the Issues Page
- Log into IntelliShift
- From the left side App Menu, click Inspect
- You will be brought to the Dashboard
- At the top of the screen click Issues
Viewing the Full Details of an Issue
- Log into IntelliShift
- From the left side App Menu, click Inspect
- You will be brought to the Dashboard
- At the top of the screen click Issues
- Within the Issues Page user have the ability Filter by the Issue Status, Search for Specific Keywords, for select a Specific Date Range
- Once the specific issue has been identified, a user can click the issue by clicking the arrow on the right-hand side of the reported issue
Exporting Issues
- Log into IntelliShift
- From the left side App Menu, click Inspect
- You will be brought to the Dashboard
- At the top of the screen click Issues
- Filter the list of issues you want to export
- Select the list of assets from within the filtered list to export
- Click the Select All button to select all Issues from within the filtered list
- Click the Export Menu
- Choose to Export to CSV or PDF
Managing an Issue
- Once you are on the Issue page the user will be provided with details for the particular issue that they are viewing.
- Issue Card - The Component within the Template where the issue was found.
- Inspection Form - The specific name of the template which the issue was identified
- Date Reported - The Date and Time that the issue was reported
- Last Activity - The Last Activity is the date and time that the issue was last modified by a user. this happens by changing the status of the issue, Uploading a document, sharing it with a mechanic or adding a comment to the issue
- Reported By - The name of the Operator who had reported the issue
- Mechanic - The name of the Mechanic that this has been shared with. If the name is Blank the issue was not shared with a mechanic
- Branch - The Branch that the asset resided within
- Asset - The name of the asset with the reported Issue
- Below the details of the issue will allow the user to edit the issue and change the status from New to Completed
- When changing the Status from New -> Completed, the user will be asked to sign. When signing the user will be provided with the ability to use the signature capture pad on screen or type their name to sign. Without a signature the status of the issue will not update.
- To the Right of the Status selector, the user will be able to click the share feature to share this issue with a mechanic
- Enter the Mechanic's Name
- Enter the Mechanic's Email
- The Mechanic will receive an email with a link to the issue, as well as a One Time Passcode to access the issue.
- On the right side of the page, will be an Activity widget, allowing users to clearly see all of the updates to particular issues, from comments to status changes and document uploads.
- At the bottom section of the page, users will be able to click the Upload button to attach documents or pictures to the particular issue
Mechanics Accessing the Issues
Mechanics can be assigned to particular issues in a secure manner. When a mechanic is assigned an issue, they will receive an email from no-reply@mg.intellishift.com with a 6 digit Pin Number and a View Details button to view the issue.
Functions of a Mechanic
- Update an Issues Status from New to Completed
- Write a Comment for the Company users
- Upload a Document or Image
Inspections
Users within IntelliShift Inspect have the ability to track the status of all of the inspections that are being completed by their operators in real-time. There are Two Statuses to inspections, Passed and Failed. A Failed Inspection is when one or more item has been deemed as below satisfactory, based on the operator's inspection. Inspections page will display the following fields:
- Asset- The Asset that the inspection was completed for
- Date- The Date that the inspection was completed
- Time- The Time that the inspection was completed
- Status - The Status of the Inspection
- Passed - All Components and Checkpoints items are above satisfactory
- Failed - One or more Component or Checkpoint item is below satisfactory
- Stage - The Stage of a Compliance Inspection
- Pending Resolution - At least one item within the inspection has failed and the issue has not been resolved yet.
- Pending Verification - The failed Issue(s) have been corrected and it is waiting for the operators verification signature.
- Verified - the Issue has been corrected and the operator has signed the inspection that the issue has been corrected.
- Operator - The name of the Operator who completed the inspection
- Branch - The Branch that the asset is assigned to
- Form Template - The name of the Template that the inspection was completed from
Permissions
Inspections Read - This permission allows the user to access the Inspections page from within the Inspect app.
Inspections Delete - This permission allows the user to delete inspections from within IntelliShift Inspect.
Viewing Inspections Page

- You will be brought to the Dashboard
- At the top of the screen click Inspections
Viewing Inspections in Detail
- Log into IntelliShift
- From the left side App Menu, click Inspect
- You will be brought to the Dashboard
- At the top of the screen click Inspections
- Within the Inspections Page user have the ability Filter by the Issue Status, Search for Specific Keywords, for select a Specific Date Range
- Once the specific inspection has been identified, a user can click the Inspection by clicking the arrow on the right-hand side of the reported issue
- Within the Inspection's detail screen users will be able to view each component and their correlating check point items
- If there are any failures on a check point item the component will state as Failed as well as the specific failed check point will be displayed in red lettering
Exporting Inspections
- Log into IntelliShift
- From the left side App Menu, click Inspect
- You will be brought to the Dashboard
- At the top of the screen click Issues
- Filter the list of issues you want to export
- Select the list of assets from within the filtered list to export
- Click the Select All button to select all Issues from within the filtered list
- Click the Export Menu
- Choose to Export to CSV or PDF
