Intellishift's SP Speed feature expands upon the platform's basic high-speed monitoring by providing monitoring of an asset's speed against the posted speed limit of the road the asset travels on.

SP Speed provides this enhanced speed monitoring via our real-time alerting and on-demand/scheduled reports.
Creating a Posted Speed Limit Alert
- Log in to Intellishift
- Click on Alerts > Create
- Select the SP Speed Alert
- There are a few ways to select what the alert monitors
- Asset
- Branch
- Operator
- Choose from the list of Assets/Branches/Operators displayed
- Click Next
- Now create a schedule of when to have the alert monitoring
- Within the Schedule, you can monitor for this event all day, every day, or very specific hours by setting your beginning hours and ending hours
- Click Next
- Name the alert and setting specific thresholds for when the alert should be triggered
- Select whether you want your operators to be monitored by MPH or a percentage over the PSL
- Set the Speed Threshold
- Set the duration in minutes of how long the asset needs to exceed the Speed Threshold in order to trigger the alert
- Click Next
- Finally, choose how you get notified, you can receive a notification in multiple ways
- Text Message – a message sent via SMS
- Email – a message sent to designated email addresses
- On-Screen Notification – a notification directly within Intellishift
- Choose any or all of the alert methods above. As well, you can add additional alert recipients if desired
- Click Finish
Generate a Posted Speed Limit Violations Report
- Log in to Intellishift
- Click Reports > On Demand
- Select the Speeding Report
- There are a few ways to have the report generated
- Asset
- Driver
- Branch
- Choose from the list of Assets/Drivers/Branches displayed
- Click Next
- Now set the Parameter for the report beginning with the start and end date and times
- Select the Speed Limit Type of Overage (for posted speed limit) or Threshold (for high speed)
- Set the Speed Overage in number of MPH or percentage
- Set the Speeding Duration or how many minutes the asset needs to travel above the Speed Overage in order to appear on the report
- Click Finish
Creating a Scheduled Speeding Report
- Log in to Intellishift
- Click Reports > Scheduled
- Click Create Report
- Choose Speeding Report from the list
- There are a few ways to have the report scheduled
- Asset
- Branch
- Driver
- Choose from the list of Assets/Branches/Drivers displayed
- Click Next
- Now configure the schedule, the report can be delivered Daily, Weekly, or Bi-Weekly
- Choose the Time of when to receive the report, with the designated Time Zone
- Click Next
- This step is where the user will name the report, choose how the report will be delivered (Excel, CSV, PDF, Hyperlink) and fill in the appropriate parameters
- Click Next
- In this final step, the user will define the email recipient(s) or SMS recipients who will receive the report based on the scheduled time
- Click Finish
