Silent Passenger's Multi-View Layout allows users to take advantage of multiple maps that can be customized to fit a business's specific needs. Each of these maps can be configured to display a set of Assets, Landmarks, Geofences, and other map layers such as traffic.
Building a Multi-View Layout
- Log into IntelliShift
- Go to the Silent Passenger app
- Open Map View
- Once inside map View, Click Map View to display the Menu.
- Click Edit Layout
- The user will be presented with 9 Different Layout styles, Choose the Layout that best fits your need
- Once the layout has been chosen the Map will update to show all fleet assets on each Layout Tile.
- If you have Views already built you can click Load to load and select the correct View for each Map View tile.
- If there are no Views created yet click the X on the Map Layout Menu
Customizing Each Layout (Creating a View)
Customizing a Layout is considered making edits to the "View". The view handles how each individual Layout looks and what information to display.
- Log into IntelliShift
- Go to the Silent Passenger app
- Open Map View
- Load the layout that you want to create Views for
- Click the Map View Tile that you want to customize the View of. Once clicked it will be highlighted in red around it.
- Within the Tile that you want to customize the View of select Menu
- Within the Menu users have click Filter Layers to adjust the View
- Traffic - This will turn on traffic for the view.
- Geofences - This allows the user to select categories of Geofences to display on the map
- Landmarks - This allows the user to select categories of Landmarks to display on the map
- Branches - This allows users to select a set of branches of assets to be displayed on the map
- Assets - By Selecting Assets, users can control a select set of individual assets to display on the map.
- Save the view to be able to utilize the View other Layouts in the future.
Advanced Building of a MultiView Layout
- Log into IntelliShift
- Go to the Silent Passenger app
- Open Map View
- Once inside map View, Click Map View to display the Menu.
- Click Edit Layout
- Toggle Advanced
- You will be provided with Add Map
- In the Advanced building of Multiviews, they are built as a hierarchy.
- Panel - Within the Panel, you will have the ability to Add Map, Reverse or Invert
- Map - Within the Map, you will have the ability to Split or Remove
- Panel - Within the Panel, you will have the ability to Add Map, Reverse or Invert
- Once the Map has been split there will be the following Control Options
- Add Map - this will add a New Map splitting the Panel in equal parts
- Reverse - This will reverse the order of the Maps
- Invert - this will rotate the Map tiles by 90 degrees
- Split - It will take the existing Map and split it equally
- Once the Layout tiles have been customized
- Click Load to Load Views
- Click Save to Save the Layout
