Overview
Tags allow assets or operators to be assigned to various groups rather than just living within a single branch within the hierarchy. Once tags are created, use tags to filter maps, the Fleet Status page, as well as alerts and reports.
For example,
- Assign asset types to your assets
- A mixed fleet may want to create a tag for "Construction" and another for "On-Road"
- This allows filtering on the map and reporting metrics by asset type as well as by branch.
- Assign qualification tags to operators
- A fleet may want to create a tags for "Class A CDL," "Class B CDL, and "Class C CDL." Or, perhaps a fleet may create a "MSHA" tag for operators who have the certification to work at a mine site.
- This allows a user to filter the map from a dispatching perspective to display all working operators on the map that meets the qualifications to be dispatched out to an emergency job site in order to complete the work at hand.
