Alternative Fuel Insights Report Follow

Overview

The Alternative Fuel Insights report is intended to help users identify which conventionally fueled vehicles may be a candidate for an electric or hybrid vehicle. The report considers factors such as maximum EV range, the frequency EV range is exceeded and average stop duration for supplemental charging. 
 
A 3-star rating will be provided for easy identification of EV/Hybrid candidates based on historical use and entered criteria: 

• 3 stars indicate an ideal candidate for an EV vehicle 
• 2 stars indicate a candidate for a hybrid vehicle 
• 1 or no stars indicate a subpar candidate for alternative fuel vehicles 

The Alternative Fuel Insights report is intended to analyze utilization over a broad date range, typically one month. To use the report, specify a few EV criteria including: 

• Maximum EV range in miles or kilometers 
  • A vehicle receives one star if it averages less daily mileage than this value 
  • A vehicle receives one star if it never exceeds this value 
     

• Target stop duration for supplemental charging during the day
  • A vehicle receives one star if it averages stops of at least this duration 
     

• Minimum stop time filter, to remove brief traffic stops from the average stop duration

• Maximum stop time filter, to remove overnight stops from the average stop duration
