The Hardware Replacement page is intended for administrators managing their self-installed 3G horizon replacements. As we issue replacement hardware, organizations managing installations for their replacements will be able to finalize swaps without needing to contact IntelliShift Support. Replacements will only appear here once hardware has been shipped from IntelliShift.
Access to the Hardware Replacement page will be enabled for all Administrator and Account Administrators by default. To grant or revoke access, a new user permission is available:
To access your list of Hardware Replacements, navigate to Administration -> Equipment Management -> Hardware Replacement.
Here, all planned device replacements will be listed including the Asset Name, make/model/year, request date, completion date, VIN, Serial/IMEI and replacement IMEI. To quickly identify your pending swap for handling, search by Asset Name, VIN or Serial/IMEI.
To complete a replacement, press the Swap button. A warning box will appear to verify that the replacement hardware is installed and prior hardware will stop communicating. If you have installed the new device and are ready to proceed, press Continue.
The new device is now active and if powered, will start communicating data. The Status column will indicate if the replacement is pending or has been finalized by a user.
