Fleet Maintenance supports Parts management including location-based inventory and the creation of Purchase Orders.
To add Parts to Fleet Maintenance for inventory management, first create the Locations parts will be stored at in Fleet Maintenance -> Administration -> Parts -> Locations. Click the “+” next to Locations and enter your Location name, abbreviation, phone number and address details.
Next load your parts manufacturers or vendors in Fleet Maintenance -> Administration -> Parts -> Manufacturers.
Once your Manufacturers are created, start adding Parts from Fleet Maintenance -> Administration -> Parts -> Parts including:
- Part Name
- Part Number
- Description
- Manufacturer
- Unit of Measure
- Each
- Quart
- Gallon
- Pair
- Hour
- Unit cost
Once your parts are available, they can be added to inventory from the Parts or Locations pages.
